'Images of the Natural World'
Welcome to M.J. Wase Photography! I am Martin Wase, and I have the pleasure of bringing the stunning beauty of Norfolk’s wildlife and rural landscapes into homes around the world. My journey as a wildlife photographer began with a deep appreciation for the natural world, cultivated from a young age growing up on the North Norfolk coast. In 1983, at the age of 13, I was voted the Amateur Naturalist of the Year in conjunction with the Channel 4 series "The Amateur Naturalist." I was lucky enough to spend a week with the late Gerald Durrell and Lee Durrell, which was an unforgettable experience that further fueled my passion for wildlife.
For me, photography is more than just a profession—it's a lifelong passion that allows me to capture and share the enchanting essence of nature. Each canvas in my collection tells a unique story, whether it's the iconic beach of Old Hunstanton or the vibrant wildlife that inhabits the Norfolk coast. My work has been showcased in numerous books, magazines, and art venues. My aim is to create pieces that not only decorate your space but also evoke the feelings experienced when being at one with nature.
In 'The Country Cabin,' my gallery in Hunstanton, you'll find a curated selection of my work, each photograph capturing a moment in time that I've been lucky enough to experience in the natural world. I hope that they bring the same joy and inspiration to you as they do to me.
Thank you for visiting M.J. Wase Photography. I invite you to explore my collection and bring a piece of Norfolk's natural beauty into your home. Please contact me with any specific requirements for a photograph in a particular size or if you require a print instead of a canvas.
